Happy 1/2 Birthday Ari!!
Ok so on a lighter note everyones favorite little girl is 6 months old today!!
Happy 1/2 Birthday Ari!! I made her a 1/2 cake, and sang happy 1/2 birthday to her over a yummy dinner of pureed squash (for her) ribs (for me) and salad (for Brett).
We actually didt get a chance to experience the cake, we got ome a little late from the doctors office. A couple weeks ago I noticed that Ari was fussier than usual, REALLY fussy and whining all the time, so after some consultation of vetern Mom's (thanks Mom and Sherrie) I decided to take her in, and it turns out she had a UTI!!! Another UTI (urinary tract infection). They sent off a culture, prescribed me some antibiotics and send us on our way... Well things only got worse in the Ari department until she was so bad today she wouldn't let me our of her sight... I was soooo frustrated!! I decided to make a pest of myself at the doctors office and found out- her UTI is resistant to the antibiotic they prescribed!! In fact its resistant to almost every kind of antibiotic, soooo in we went for Rochepin (sp?) shots. We will have to get them for the next 2 days :( poor baby!!
Thankfully the shots seem to be working (if not its off to the hospital- YIKES!) once we got home and she woke up from a nap she ate 2 containers of baby food!!! And then ate 3 oz of formula :) Which makes me happy, she really hadnt eaten anything all day!! Praise God this is figured out!
We have had a wonderful last few weeks, Bretts Mom Sherrie came to visit for a couple days and so did one of my best friends Cheryl. While they were here Ari had her dedication, and we got to spend the day exploring San Diego!! FUN!! We did the Old Town Trolley Tours and a cruise through the bay :). The next weekend Cheryl came back (she was at a conference in San Diego) and we went to the flower fields, it was GORGEOUS!
Well this post is getting longer than expected :) check out the links below for more pics
COMING SOON: This weekend we are going to do a fun secret shop at a family center-lazer tag, go karts, you name it! Scott comes back from deployment the 13th and Ari and I fly home May 22-April 6!! WOW!!

Grandpa Rpbbie....
Its been so long since Ive posted anything.. I guess Ive been avoiding it since Grandpa passed away because somehow talking about it, posting on facebook about it or even blogging makes it real to me..
In case you didnt know, my grandfather Maurice D Robinson passed away suddenly
M.D. “Curly” Robinson, 79, of Parsons died at 3:58 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at Labette Health. He had been in his usu...al health and death was not expected.
He was born Oct. 12, 1930, in Columbus to James C. Robinson Sr. and Iva Cleo (Farnsworth) Robinson. He attended grade school at Hallowell and was a high school graduate of Cherokee County Community High School.
He married Jo Ann L. Cormeny on July 2, 1950, in Eureka Springs, Ark. In 1951, they moved to Parsons, where he was employed by the MKT Railroad. In 1988, they moved to Little Rock, Ark., where he continued his employment with the Union Pacific Railroad. Following his retirement in 1992, the couple returned to Parsons, where they have lived since.
He was a member of First Christian Church in Parsons and the Parsons Masonic Lodge No. 117, A.F. & A.M., where in 1962 he served as past master. He enjoyed fishing on a daily basis and was a diehard cat fisherman at Lake McKinley. He also enjoyed gardening and mowing his lawn.
Survivors include his wife, Jo Ann Robinson of the home in Parsons; a son, Ron Robinson, and his wife, Teresa, of Mound Valley; four grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; two brothers, James Robinson of Hallowell and Gene Robinson of Parsons; and two sisters, his twin sister, Maurine Lanz of Lamar, Mo., and Juanita Walker of Parsons.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Neil; a sister, Lois Kirk; and a great-granddaughter, Chloe Nichelle Robinson.
The graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Parsons. Friends may call at their convenience after 1 p.m. today at Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons.
I didnt get to go home for the funeral so Ari and I are traveling home to see everyone in late April. Please be in prayer for my grandmother, and my father and us all as we deal with losing a very great man....
