GOOD NEWS DAY!!!

Today is just a day of aaaaaaaaaamazing news!!!

1. Brett took his BIG test and got a 94!!! That means he passes :) and is the big beginning step down a long road, he is home early and taking a much deserved nap. They let them take the test this morning then sent them home, but STILL paid them for 8 hours!! woo!! I guess government regulations say once they take the test they have to leave the facility.. wooohooo for us!!

2. BabyBayer is GREAT!! This morning Grandma Myers and I went to get my blood tested (for the Dr, making sure iron and everything is ok- my spleens a little enlarged and they dont know why) which was not fun because I had to fast!! torture for a pregnant woman!! lol

THEN we got to have a ultrasound!! yea!!

Last time they were worried about the babies stomach- its still big, about 95% percentile, but the ultrasound doc isnt worried, he said is just probably a normal variation, some people have big toes, some people have a big stomach :). This is NOT her abdomen, her belly is normal size, its just her stomach inside her that is big- so no one would probably know except maybe her Momma because she will probably have a big appetite!!

When we went to the OB last week she measured my fundal lenght.. i.e. the size of my belly and Im measuring about 27 weeks! yikes!! She quickly ultrasounded my stomach to measure amniotic fluid and everything looked good and wanted to make sure the baby is growing... and well ... after this ultrasound ...

BABY BAYER WEIGHS 5 pounds 10 ounces!!!

Thats one big baby!! :) Can you believe it? Shes measuring in the 85th percentile and about 2 weeks bigger than her due date!! Maybe she will come early?? If she anything like Brett and I though she will be late. The Dr said if she continues like this she will be at LEAST 9-10 pounds!! YIKES!! So my belly is really small and VERY full of baby..

Grandma Myers got to see her first ultrasound EVER (after 3 of her own children and 70+ years of life) and although she didnt have much of an idea of what she was looking at it was still fun!!

The baby has the CHUBBIEST cheeks ever!!! and fat little arms and legs, shes already a little chunker.... We are so excited to meet her!!

Well thats all for now!! Im finishing my final class for my MBA this week, Grandma's cookin and cleanin up a storm (we are SO BLESSED to have her), Scott (Bretts brother) gets here somtime tomorrow to stay for about a week before he deploys- we are stocking up the pantry, and Brett starts shift work at the plant (12-13 hour days! yikes!) tomorrow.

No more Dr appointments for awhile, after the class is over I will focus on getting that nursery ready!! Exciting stuff!!
